Dr. Lazar started teaching at MSJHS in January of 2002. Dr. Lazar
has a B.S. degree in Mathematical Sciences from Stanford University, an M.S.
degree in Mathematics from San Jose State University, and a Ph.D. degree in
Mathematics from UC Santa Barbara. Dr. Lazar has industrial experience as a
software engineer at Sportvision, the company that creates the “yellow first
down line” for college and professional football on television.
For 2007-2008,
Dr. Lazar is teaching Precalculus (periods 1, 6), AP Calculus AB (periods 3, 4),
and AP Calculus BC (period 5). Dr. Lazar's prep period is 2nd period.
