Mr. Karmali graduated with an MSEE from UC Berkeley and then spent 25 years in the high tech industry spanning aerospace, medical electronics and consumer electronics industries. He then transitioned to teaching in high school as a way of doing something of social value (he felt disillusioned with building gizmos). So he now trains others to build these gizmos. 

For 2007-2008, Mr. Karmali is teaching Honors Precalculus (Periods 1, 2, 3) and College Prep Precalculus (Periods 5, 6). Mr. Karmali’s prep period is 4th period. Mr. Karmali's classes meet in C2.
