In March 1983, I just moved to Fremont and I thought I was a taking a
“temporary” job here at MSJHS. My prior work experience was as an operations
research analyst with Lockheed Missile & Space in Sunnyvale and the Navy
Department in Washington, D.C. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from the
University of Maryland in Mathematics and a Masters Degree in Computer Science
and Technology from USF. The great MSJ staff, administration, parents and students inspired me to stay in
education. I’ve taught every course offered here over my 24 year tenure, but
most recently AP Calculus, AP Statistics and Algebra IA. I, also, play in the
orchestra for musicals and chaperone the marching band for parades here and in
Europe. Music, yoga, cycling and hiking are my hobbies.
In February 2006, my son, Jesse (class of ’96) and his wife, Lynell, made me a
Grandma! That little boy is the joy of my life...ask to see my pictures!
For 2007-2008, I am teaching AP Calculus AB
(periods 1, 2, 5, 6), and Honors Algebra 2/Trig (period 4). My
classes are in room B-7.
If you wish to reach me, you may
e-mail me or leave a voice
message for me at extension #37007.
I will respond as soon as I am able.
