The North Coast Section Cross Country Championship
was held at Hayward High School on Saturday,
11/17/2007, and Mission San Jose ran in Division
II. The Mission Varsity Girls finished in 12th
place with 292 points, and the Mission Varsity Boys
finished in 14th place with 331 points.
Evan
Dankiewicz finished first for the Mission Varsity
Boys in 51st place overall. Katherine Eve finished
first for MSJ in the Girls Varsity race in 54th
place overall.
This
was the last high school cross country race for the
MSJ Seniors: Ricky McFerrin, Katherine Eve, Ally
Blenis and Sonia Sajja. Their good leadership and
good race contributions will be missed next year.
Since
MSJ had a relatively young team this year, the
expectations are high for 2008.
