Sports - Cross Country - Mission Valley Athletic League Cross Country Championship - November 8, 2007
Cross Country Home
The Mission Valley Athletic League Cross Country Championship was held at Coyote Hills Park on Thursday, 11/8/2007.  The Mission Varsity Girls finished in third place with 95 points, and the Mission Varsity Boys finished in sixth place with 124 points.

Evan Dankiewicz finished first for the Mission Varsity Boys in 13th place overall.  He ran a great race after suffering a fall in the first hundred yards that required that the whole field to be recalled for a restart.

Katherine Eve finished her last MVAL cross country race in 13th place overall for the Girls Varsity.  Katherine has finished as the Warriors first runner in all races this year.  The Mission girls were assigned to run on the far right side of the starting line, and that required that they run considerably farther than the rest of the field to get to the first road on the course.

Mission ran well overall at MVAL's considering the large number of Freshman and Sophomore runners on the team.
