The
Mission San Jose Cross Country teams ran
against Irvington High School on Wednesday, 10/11,
under sunny skies on the Mission course. Trevor
Addison won the Boy's varsity race for MSJ followed
very closely by Nelson Yu. Chelsea Kitta won the
Girl's varsity race for MSJ with a strong finish.
Coach
Marden commented on a number of outstanding
performances by Mission runners including Alvin Lin,
Amrit Dhar (won JV race), Trevor Addison, and
Chelsea Kitta. Coach Marden gave out Athlete of the
Meet awards to Vincent Leong (ran fastest race this
season/4th overall in Frosh/Soph race); Elias Lee;
Anna Kim (number one for MSJ JV girls); Anna Liu
(leading Freshman); Nelson Yu (ran consistently
and with his best time of the year); and Teddy Fong
(his best time of the year).
Mission
