Welcome to the Home of the Huskies

pawA Student Survival Guide!paw

Don't know what to expect in your first year at WHS? This section will help you navigate through our school website and learn what life is REALLY like as a Husky!

Your first day at Washington High School is tomorrow. You either...

a.)  _Panic_

b.) Jump for Joy!

c.)  Shrug.

Remember that it is natural to feel nervous deep down about our first day of school. Take Jessica, Class of 2013 for example:

"I am just too shy and do not really know where to go and would hate to make a fool of myself."

      Nervous?   ~Ready for school?~   Ready?

On the other side of the spectrum Justin, also from 2013, is rather indifferent.
"I learned everything from my brother."

Whether you are nervous, excited, or undaunted about your future at Washington High School, there is no doubt that it feels great to be ahead of the game, with knowledge of what to expect as you enter the Home of the Huskies.  This website is a great way to understand and feel more connected to your high school.
For starters, we have an awesome open campus, talented sport teams, numerous clubs, excellent community service opportunities, and of course, the famous love of our lives: SPIRIT WEEK! I hope this will make you sleep well before your first day of school. Until you complete the high school experience, you will certainly find out that above all, Washington High School, Home of the Huskies, is the place to be.
