Kindergarten Schedule

We are implementing a staggered schedule for our kindergarten classes to provide a portion of each day when there are fewer students in the classroom. Some students will attend 8:30 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. and some students will attend 9:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m., thus creating a one hour block for every student when there is a more favorable student teacher ratio. Please note these important dates:

            Aug. 31 – Sept. 23 All Kindergarten students attend 8:30am to 11:50am. 

            Sept. 12 Teachers will inform parents in writing of their child’s staggered assignment time.

            Sept. 26 The staggered schedule begins.

We are confident the instructional benefits of the staggered schedule will be worth the delay in establishing a schedule routine.
