ONGOING REMINDERS

VISITORS & VOLUNTEERS

Please sign in at the office every time you are on campus for ANY reason whether you are volunteering or picking up students afterschool. If you are picking up your child and did not sign in, you must wait by the 3rd grade lunch tables or the Pontiac gate until the dismissal bell rings.

PARENTS

Please do not walk directly to classrooms to deliver lunches, homework, etc. There is a district classroom interruption policy stating that parents are not to disturb the learning environment within the classroom during teaching hours.

PARKING LOT, VALET, PICK-UP/DROP-OFF SAFETY REMINDERS

No students are to be in the Lippert Parking Lot without an adult unless they are being picked up through the Valet Line. Please do not stop by the dumpster nor along the fence by classrooms to have your child enter/exit your vehicle. Thanks for your cooperation on this matter. Please follow ALL these rules to help Valet & Safety Patrol work effectively:

PROCEDURES FOR PICK-UP AND DROP OFF:

No U-turns on Pontiac, California Vehicle Code 22103
Students and Parents need to use identified crosswalks, NOT speed bumps, this is violation of Fremont City Ordinance.
Do not drop students off in middle of the street
Do not exit the Valet through the cones, proceed to the end of the Valet area and exit.
Students and parents in the crosswalk have the right way, California Vehicle Penal 21952
Do not block driveways (parking, standing or stopping) of houses or the school. California Vehicle Penal code 25500 and 22507.2
Do not park in the Pontiac Parking Lot; it is reserved for the staff and Durham buses.

Do not park or unload in Bus Zone at anytime

, even on early release Wednesdays. We still have bus service on those days.
If we are unable to get parents to help, we will not be able to continue to provide Safety Patrol and Valet services.

Please note we hope to start the Lippert Valet service again on November 3rd.
