When: Monday, April 22nd, 7:00 pm
Where: Warm Springs Library
Please RSVPhere (to make sure we have at least 20 to complete the process):
At this meeting wewill formally CREATE the Warm Springs PTA. We will adopt newly written bylaws, elect officers, and solicit membership, so bring your checkbooks (no cash please). We need at least 15 charter members to start up this PTA. **Please note that this membership you pay for will last until October, 2014 and you will NOT need to rejoin in the Fall of 2013. Both Fremont Council PTA and Peralta District PTA will be present to guide us through this exciting process, so let’s show them that we have a very involved parent & teacher base that will step up and get involved to make our schools shine!
· Vote to officially organize the Warm Springs PTA to benefit from officer training, guidance and support from Fremont Council PTA, as well as local networking opportunities throughout FUSD (need at least 15 people voting)
· Adopt the bylaws (recently written by a committee elected at the information meeting)
· Elect officers to serve immediately through next school year
