The state of California has developed a recommended reading list that aligns with the STAR - Stanford 9 Test administered to students throughout the state. A suggested reading list number has been assigned to each student based on each student's Stanford 9 reading comprehension score. The STAR Parent Reports will include the California Reading List number. To assist our students, this page links to the Star lists of books with the title, author and MSJHS call number.
