Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year at Walters Junior High School.  To our returning families we look forward to seeing all of you again as eighth graders.  To our new families we are eager to establish a healthy relationship where our efforts achieve one goal: making sure your child is successful! 

We have many exciting events and programs in which everyone can participate.  I want to encourage all parents and guardians to be involved in the many committees we have for our community (PTSA, SSC, ELAC, DELAC, and Volunteering).  Information for all of these committees will be provided in this packet, during MAZE day, and on the Walters’ website (www.fremont.k12.ca.us/walters).

I am eager to start another productive year for our students and community.  Our staff is dedicated to educate and inspire as our students move towards high school and beyond.  Working together as a team will ensure success.
