Afterschool child care is available through the Fremont/Newark YMCA. "The Fremont/Newark Family YMCA School Age program features activities that are developmentally and academically balanced to enrich and enhance your childs school day. Your child and family and the community we serve are at the heart of our program for school-age children.

Every YMCA childcare site meets the highest program standards. Our programs are developed and delivered using guidelines established by the YMCA, the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the National Afterschool Association (NAA)."
