The school year is passing so quickly as it always does.  The last day for checking out library materials is Thursday, May 30.  All library materials are due by Thursday, June 6th.  Please help your children to return their library items on time.  It can take quite a while to get the library back in order and ready for the next school year, but it is much easier with your help!  If you have any questions or concerns regarding library materials, please feel free to contact me.
 
You will notice that there are two library webpages that are useful during the summer break.  One lists summer reading games sponsored by various groups. The other has summer reading lists. One is from the California Department of Education and the other two are lists of recommended books that I put together a few years ago which can be useful during the break.  Help your kids read some terrific books this summer!
