Welcome to the Science Magnet Program!

Hi ,

The Mattos Science Magnet Program offers the opportunity to transfer to Mattos Elementary School if you want your child to be enrolled in this program. Admission is based on available space. You will need to fill out an Intra District Transfer Form at your home school when you register. Please make the request as MAGNET in the upper right hand corner. Bring the form directly to Mattos School at that time and we will process it for you. You may also ask your home school to send it to us.

Science Magnet Program:

Mattos Elementary School Science Magnet Program - Mattos Elementary, which is centrally located off Mowry Ave. near 880, offers a "Soaring into Science" program that turns natural curiosity into a unique learning experience for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The program uses approved district and state curriculum standards and enriches them with science wherever appropriate. Students may enter at any grade.
