    Learn how to learn & remember vocabulary.

     

     
    Key Vocabulary Course Components:
    In any vocabulary builder course, we will review strategies and techniques for remembering and identifying new vocabulary using readings, such as newspaper articles.  Your goals will be to:
    • know what the word means (Definition)
    • know how to say it (Pronunciation, Stress)
    • know how to spell it
    • know when and when not to use it (Conotation and denotation)
    • know the grammar of the word (Part of speech: noun, adjective, verb, adverb, preposition, article...)
    • know which words generally are around it (Collocations)

    Use this vocabulary worksheet to keep track of new vocabulary systematically.
