PTA Membership and Meeting Information

The PTA works hard to organize lots of activities to enhance our school and the lives of our children and families. Family Fun Nights, Family Math and Literacy Nights (PTA provides dinner for all our families), Red Ribbon Week, Pumpkin Patch, Halloween Carnival, Winter Holiday Boutique, and Teacher Appreciation Week are supported and/or organized by the Patterson PTA through funds and volunteer time. The PTA provides funding for field trips for every grade, and schedules and funds the school assembly program. This is just a small list of all the work PTA accomplishes in a year. Help the PTA to continue doing great things for Patterson by giving it your support!

Become a Member

The first and easiest way to start helping the PTA is by joining as a member. Each membership is only $8.00 and anyone who is interested may join (parents, students, teachers, aunts, uncles, grandparents, friends and neighbors). To join, just fill out the application form here or on the back of the PTA Post, add $8.00 for each membership and turn it in to your childs teacher.

Once you are a member, you may be interested in attending a monthly PTA meeting, which are scheduled for the first Tuesday of a month, with the exception of holidays and special events (please check the Tuesday Folder and web calendar for any schedule changes). They are approximately one hour, starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Patterson Staff Room. The meetings are designed to discuss current and future PTA business and events, and includes updates on school business from teacher representatives and the Principal. They are friendly, quick meetings where you can start learning about how your PTA helps Patterson all year around!
