MorningDrop Off Time

Duringthe morning drop off time many parents are staying on school campus tosocialize and wave goodbye to their kids before the start of a busy day.  The Leitch Staff feels that this is importantfor parents to do, however it is making it difficult for teachers to passthrough the large crowds of parents in order to get to their classrooms. Whenthe 8:15 bell rings, teachers are on the playground for recesssupervision.  We are asking parents tosay their goodbyes at this time, and to make their way off campus tosocialize.  If parents leave after the8:15 bell, it will be easier for teachers to walk out to the playground to pickup their students, and for everyone to walk to their classrooms.  Thank you for your cooperation.

ParentTeacher Conferences

I am looking forward to meeting everyfamily face to face during our November parent teacher conferences. I haveassigned everyone a 20 minute time slot on Monday November 19th orTuesday November 20th.  I senthome the notice of your time slot in the Leitch Folder yesterday; it is printedon yellow paper.  Please review your timeslot and return the bottom portion of the notice as confirmation that you willbe there, or that you need to reschedule. Thank you to those who have already returned it.  If needed, I will reschedule with you usingemail.

During your conference time we will goover your child’s report card and discuss areas that need improvement and areasof strength.  I will explain how I’mworking with your child in the classroom and what you can do at home to supporttheir learning.
