Attention 8thGrade Students & Parents:
Registrationfor incoming 9thgrade students will begin on Friday, February 24th. The counselors will make presentations to 8thgrade students and drop-off the registration forms to be completed and returned to the 8thgrade math teacher. On Monday, March 5th, the counselors will return to pick-up the completed registration forms. During the registration process, students and parents are encouraged to attend the American High School Spring Open House to ask questions about registration and learn about the academic programs offered.
Spring Open HouseforAmericanHigh Schoolwill take place on Thursday, March 1stfrom 6pm – 8pm. We will kick-off the evening with an incoming 9thgrade orientation at 6pm in the gym. The orientation will include information on graduation and college entrance requirements as well asAmericanHigh Schoolactivities, athletics, academic programs, and registration. Then, you’ll be invited to the rotunda to meet the staff, look at department displays, participate in activities, and listen to presentations on the various academic programs offered atAmericanHigh School.

The Tdap shot must be given on or after age 7 to meet this requirement.
