Welcome to Ms. Szawara's class in Room 33!
 
This is my fourth year teaching the 3-4 SDC here at Warwick (Go Wizards!). I grew up in Michigan and studied Special Education at Michigan State University (Go Spartans!). I moved to California shortly after graduating because of the job opportunities for special educators. It was difficult moving away from my ever growing family, but I've enjoyed every minute of living and working in the beautiful Bay Area. Thankfully I am able to Skype with my family and watch my nieces and nephews grow over the internet!
 
This page will be our key to keeping consistent collaboration between school and home. Please take a look around and keep in mind that the site will be changing throughout the year with updates of what's going on with our class along with different blogging activities.
  
At the beginning of this year and throughout, I'd like us all to keep in mind the importance of keeping open communication for the benefit of our students. Parents are always welcome to volunteer in our room! Please feel free to contact me by phone or email with any questions or concerns.
