Principal's Message
 
Dear Patterson Families:
 
Welcome Back!  I hope that each of you had a terrific summer and that you are ready to get back to work, learning and growing this year.  You are in store for an exciting and challenging year filled with a rigorous curriculum, making new friends and lots of fun!  The staff, parents and community of Patterson Elementary School will work together as a TEAM (together Everyone Achieves More) to ensure student success!
 
We want an excellent school year and a great beginning!  All students are expected to arrive to school on time, ready to learn and bringing the necessary tools to support learning.  We will continue to implement the Eight Great Traits and our three basic school rules of: Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful.  Practicing these traits and adhering to the school rules will support all of us becoming better citizens at Patterson and in our diverse society.
 
We will continue to provide an equitable and safe learning environment for all.  Various intervention strategies will be implemented to assist in closing the achievement gap.  In order for us to close that gap, we need to have all students in attendance every day he/she is not ill.  Regular attendance is of the upmost importance!
 
Your teachers and I want to welcome you back to the 2010-2011 school year.  Together, we will accomplish great things!

  • Please Take the FUSD
    Elementary Homework Survey
    A homework survey was posted on our district website last spring. Due to the limited number of participants, we are posting it again and asking parents to respond. The survey can be found at www.fremont.k12.ca.us . Go to the “Parent and Student” tab and click on “Homework Survey”. The survey will be posted until March 1, 2012. We appreciate your input.   • New Computer Lab Donations
     
    Donations for a new computer lab for Patterson are still being accepted!  The goal is a total of $30,000 and with the PTA matching half the funds, we are very close to the goal!  If you work for a company that offers grants or matching donations and would like to help, please contact Rosie Plant at nanarosie@comcast.net.  The PTA is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.

    Don't forget to buy a Patterson Yearbook for on $25.00 CASH (no checks). It is a great way to remember the friends and events of the year!  Quantities are limited, so make sure you place your order this week.
