Principal welcome

Welcome to Hirsch School!  We are a community of parents and staff who care!  We are proud of our school because our teachers work so hard to provide the best educational experience for our students, our parents are supportive, and our students are hard-working and strive to do their best. 
 
We are proud to announce our API STAR score of 910 for 2011 - a 25 point increase from last year's score!  Our API score has increased over 120 points in the last 7 years due to the incredible team effort on the part of our teachers, parents and fantastic students! We aimed for 900 and we did it!

Thank you for all your support in helping your child be successful.  Our goal this year is to keep our 910 score and raise it just a little bit.  Can we expect a little bit more from each student? Absolutely!  We have many programs here to assist students and to challenge them to do their best.

  • Please Take the FUSD
    Elementary Homework Survey
    A homework survey was posted on our district website last spring.  Due to the limited number of participants, we are posting it again and asking parents to respond.  The survey can be found at www.fremont.k12.ca.us .  Go to the “Parent and Student” tab and click on “Homework Survey”.  The survey will be posted until March 1, 2012.  We appreciate your input.  Click here to go to survey.

    The Computer Lab is open on Mondays (11:45 to 1:10) and Thursdays (12:00 to 1:10) for students to take Accelerated Reader (AR) quizzes.
